U Mumba TT are the defending champions of the Ultimate Table Tennis League, having won Season 6 which was held in 2025. The team is owned by Unilazer Ventures Pvt. Ltd, a company founded by Ronnie Screwvala, philanthropist and movie producer with Suhail Chandhok, sports broadcaster & entrepreneur as the CEO.
Ahead of season 6, U Mumba TT revamped their squad, bringing in the highest-ranked female player in the UTT Auction, Bernadette Szocs, who was also appointed the captain. Frenchman Lilian Bardet, along with promising youngsters Yashaswini Ghorpade, Akash Pal, PB Abhinandh and Swastika Ghosh were a part of the squad.
Having qualified for the first time since 2019, the team held their nerves to secure a gutsy win in the semi-final and followed it up with a dominant show in the final. A poetic finish saw 17-year-old PB Abhinandh finish the match, further highlighting why U Mumba puts their trust in youngsters across sports.
