U Mumba TT is owned by Unilazer Ventures Pvt. Ltd, a company founded by Ronnie Screwvala, philanthropist and movie producer. Suhail Chandhok, Sports Broadcaster & Entrepreneur has recently joined the team as the new CEO. Having finished as Semi-finalists on debut in Season 3 of UTT, U Mumba TT will be looking to build on that experience and unearth new young stars of the Table Tennis world along the way.
Unilazer Ventures Pvt. Ltd. also owns the Pro Kabaddi League franchise U Mumba which has represented the city of Mumbai since the inception of the league, having won the championship in Season 2 and featuring in three consecutive Pro Kabaddi Finals.
