Yatin Chopra

Based in Germany since 2008, having done his MBA in General Management & Marketing from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and gradually specializing Sports Marketing, Yatin closely involved in leading the programme in Germany. Yatin possesses rich experience in project management and has a thorough understanding of the finer aspects of an international football training programme.

Fabian Ewertz - Technical Advisor

Fabian started playing football at the age of 6, joining local side SG Dahlem Schmidtheim as a central midfielder/striker, going to stay with the club till the age of 15, following which he moved to Bayer04 Leverkusen, playing there as a Left Midfielder and then Left Back. He was selected for the Germany U20 side at the age of 18, and was also the U19 Deutscher Meister (German Champion) in 2000. He went on to play for Bayer04 Leverkusen till age 22. He then went on to play for Alemannia Aachen in Bundesliga 2nd Division, VfL Osnabruck and VfR Aalen in Bundesliga 3rd Division. He began coaching in 2010, with the DFB, and holds a Elite Youth Coach Licence and currently works as Coach and Selector for the youth teams in the U11 – U15 age group and is currently also coach for 6th Division side FC Bitburg.


Mahesh Gawli

TATA Trusts U Dream Football’s Chief of Training, Mahesh Gawli is ex-India captain and has won numerous accolades for both club and country, including the AFC Challenge Cup in 2008 for India and the ASEAN Club Championship in 2003. Having dedicated his life to the sport, Mahesh is eager to mentor and train young talent and drive the growth of Indian football through U Dream Football in his role as Chief of Training.

Jörg Stolben

Coach Jörg Stolben started off as a footballer at age 8, going on to win multiple championships as a youth player, right from the U12 to the U19 age group. Playing as striker, he finished as top scorer in the Landes-liga and went on to play as a senior pro for SV Wittlich and SG Daun, until injury cut his career short at age 28 and he moved into a coaching role with the same club, leading the club to promotion to the Verbandsliga in 1999, a feat he’s achieved on two other occasions with SG Alfbachtal, going on to win the Best Coach award in 2012. Holder of a UEFA A-License, Jorg is also currently coach for SG Schneifel Stadtkyll and has also coached FSV Salmrohr in the Oberliga.

Johannes Mayer

An academician and a coach, Johannes Mayer kicked off his career as a youth footballer with Rheinland’s regional team Pfalz, going on to captain the team for 4 years. As a professional player, Johannes played for multiple clubs across divisions – for 3 years in the 4th division and 4 years in the 6th division, finally ending his career in 2011 with SV Ellscheid. Johannes began coaching, while playing to earn his badges, and currently holds a UEFA A-License, along with being lead coach for FV Rheinland.

Karl-Heinz Kieren

Goalkeeping Coach for the TATA Trusts U Dream Football programme, Karl started playing at the age of 6, going on to play till the age 44, across leagues, winning multiples titles in his career and a youth and professional player, including winning the Amateur German Championship in 1990 and being selected the Best Goalkeeper “Regionalliga Südwest“. Karl-Heinz began his coaching career at FSV Salmrohr, where he ended his career as a player, and is currently the Athletic Supervisor and Goalkeeping coach for the club.

Heinz Ewen

Heinz Ewen started off his career at the age of 10 with SC Geichlingen, going to play for the club till the age of 24. While with the club, he played in the Rheinlandliga and Oberliga, the highest amateur league. He then moved on to FC Bitburg, spending the next 7 years of his career there. Following that, he moved into a Player Coach role – working with a number of clubs including FC Orania Vianden Senioren, SG Winterspelt, FC Vianden and SG Sauertal. He’s also been a coach for the DFB for the Eifel Region in Germany and also went to become the National Coach and Selector for the Luxembourg Youth Side. Currently, in addition to being the Coach for the Tata Trusts U Dream Football Programme, Heinz is the Sporting Director at Luxembour Club FC Wiltz 71 and a scout for Bundesliga side Bayer04 Leverkusen.

Sushant Pawar

Mumbai based Sushant Pawar, played professional football for a period of 7 years, representing Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Police, in the Elite Division - WIFA League and various other competitions. He kicked off his coaching career with St. Paul High School and currently holds a AFC B License. After leading Bandra FC from Division III to Division II in the MDFA League, Sushant went on to join Kenkre FC for a period of 4 years. Prior to joining Tata Trusts - U Dream Football, Sushant was Head Coach and Development at South United Sports Schools, as well coaching at Indian Football School and managing the U-15 I-League Mumbai FC team.


Lalchhuanawma, from Aizawl, Mizoram, played for West Bengal’s premier I-League clubs, Mohammedan Sporting Club and East Bengal between 2008-2011. Following his playing career, he moved straight into coaching with Aizawl based Chanmari FC, going on to then work with Assam Rifles team Mizoram Army. Prior to joining Tata Trusts – U Dream Football, Lalchhuanawma was coaching Mizoram Premier League side Dinthar FC.

Toheed Khan

The youngest coach of the Tata Trusts – U Dream Football Programme, Toheed played both football and hockey as a youngster. Along with representing Mumbai at the State Level in Hockey, Toheed also played football at the District Level. He started off his career as a coach at Bandra Football Club, going on to also coach South United FC in Mumbai. With a keen interest in analytics, Toheed will be focusing on performance and video analysis.

A professionally trained and qualified teacher in English and Social Studies with over 25 years of experience in CBSE and ICSE Curriculum. A diligent teacher having the ability to motivate and train the children in their overall personal development and inculcate values in them to be better citizens of the world

Rajesh Kumar Pandey: M.A, B.Ed

Rajesh Kumar Pandey

A Hindi Language teacher with over 10 years of experience in the field of education, with diverse experience across various curriculums. Thoroughly enjoys working with children and encourages creative expression.

Yogendra Dubey: B.Ed

Yogendra Dubey

A B.Ed graduate, Yogendra teaches Maths and Science. Having taught at prominent colleges across Mumbai, Yogendra believes in a differentiated approach to teaching by incorporating audio/visual techniques along with working with students on an individual basis.


Subrata Paul

Subrata Paul

Principal Specialist & Advisor for Tata Trusts U Dream Football, Subrata Paul has India’s No 1 shot stopper for a while now, and certainly one of the country’s outstanding players. Rated amongst the best goalkeepers in Asia, he’s also the 1st Indian goalkeeper to get a contract from a foreign club, FC Vestsjaelland aka FCV Vikings, who operate in the Danish Superliga. A product of the Tata Football Academy, Subrata has played for India at all age groups and has also represented leading clubs of India. Known for his athleticism, commitment and ability to pull off improbable saves, the most notable one being in the Federation Cup in 2007.
